Fishlake Cricket & Bowls Club We are a volunteer run club providing cricket and bowls t the local community. Cricket runs from age 5 upwards through all junior ages and we have 4 senior teams. Our lawn bowls is both available for social and league bowling. We have a club bar and also offer food some nights of the week. Both sports start in April/May through to September and are operating sessions most days of the week. -
Friends of Askern Lake Community group The AIMS of the group: to improve the area known as ASKERN LAKE for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area and the surrounding district; to encourage the goodwill and involvement of the wider community; to foster community spirit and encourage civic pride, with a focus on local heritage. -

Norton Chat 'n' Do Group The aim of the group is to provide informal friendly activities for all local people. The group is non discriminatory and actively attempts to include everyone who wishes to attend. Activities include a variety of styles of quizzes, Beetle drives, Bingo, memory games, craft work, word searches and occasional visiting speakers. Also group outings are arranged which include visits to garden centres, stately homes or restaurants. The group is managed by it's members and costs £2 which includes refreshments. We also support the Askern foodbank and raise money for charities.
